IB Gelişim Direktörü (Afrika, Avrupa, Ortadoğu)


Jon Halligan is the International Baccalaureates’’ Head of  Development & Recognition for Africa, Europe and the Middle East. He leads a team that is responsible for the development and articulation of the IB strategy within this region. His team has supported over 1000 schools in implementing IB programmes.  Jon works with multiple stakeholders, including Government, Industry, Universities and schools, aiding them to realise their particular educational vision through IB programmes and services. Jon joined the IB in 2014, but has been associated with the organisation since 2003, holding multiple positions of responsibility within schools. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts (RSA).

Schools today need to prepare students for a future they can't yet imagine, technologies they don’t yet know they need, careers that don't yet exist and problems they did not create. In this session we will explore these themes focusing on the key challenges and the increasingly vital role ethics plays in our future.
